Welcome! 

My name is Mikaela Murdoch and I am the creator of Honey Homeschooling.  

 

Honey Homeschooling was created in 2024 and sprung from my own desire to make learning more enjoyable, accessible and engaging for children and families who want something different than mainstream education and the traditional schooling model can offer.​ Being online means this is accessible to families anywhere in the world.

 

Offering lessons online means I can teach children where they are at, no matter their age or year level. I use a holistic approach to teaching and learning as I feel this is the most impactful approach for both my students and myself.

 

I love blending Steiner philosophies and mainstream techniques together to best support each student.

 

​I have experience as a teacher aide, before & after school care and vacation care educator, teaching in mainstream and Steiner schools and at a Steiner-inspired home schooling multi-age schooling group. ​
